Mexi-Cali cuisine is a combo as natural as peanut butter and jelly. The flavors of Mexico are so bright and vibrant, but so often full of lard and other unhealthy ingredients. Come learn how to create some flavorful, Cali-inspired lighter dishes that will make dinner into a fiesta any night of the week!

When it comes to eating Italian cuisine, nothing is better than making it at home! That is how your Nonna does it and that is how we're going to do it too. Only we will use some tricks and tweaks to lighten up some traditionally fattening comfort food dishes. Don't worry, the flavor will still be molto delizioso!

The atmosphere when you walk into a NY deli is fun and comfortable, until you open the menu and, as a vegan, realize that you can only have a pickle. In this class we’ve veganized some of our favorite NY deli classics, so you can have it all!

Our cooking class themes change on a weekly basis! Each weekend, classes are offered at 11:00 am and 4:00 pm on Saturday. We offer the same class 2 times per weekend, so that we can keep the class size intimate. Each class is $70 per student. To sign up for class please call us at (323) 512-5544 or e-mail jenny@sporkfoods.com.

To sign up for a class via e-mail, please let us know the class of your choice, number of attendees, date and time that you prefer. We will get back to you confirming availability, and we will e-mail you a payment link to confirm your booking. You're spot will not be held unless you have received payment confirmation from PayPal or Square.

Once you have completed signing up, we will e-mail you details and driving directions one week prior to your class. For a refund you must cancel 3 business days in advance of your cooking class. Students who cancel less than 3 days in advance will be responsible for the full amount.

All cooking classes are approximately 2 – 2 ½ hours in length. Space is limited, so reserve your spot as soon as possible. We recommend booking about 1 month in advance, as classes do sell out.

Come meet like-minded new people or bring along a friend to share your experience! These classes are designed for people of all cooking levels. You'll learn how to care for your health, and prepare delicious food for those you love. We will give you the knowledge and skills to be a confident cook!

At the end of class you will sit down together and enjoy the meal we prepared. After each class you'll take home a thoughtfully prepared packet of original recipes as well as the skills to show off your own delicious culinary creations!

*Menus are subject to slight changes based on seasonality and availability of organic products. Classes are mostly demonstration-based unless otherwise specified. All cancellations purchased via credit card are subject to a processing fee of $12 per class. Weekend classes (Saturday) must be cancelled by the Tuesday before class by 6pm for a future class credit or refund. If recipes are lost, if requested, we will mail them to you for a $10 service charge per packet. We do not e-mail lost recipes.

We will e-mail you a payment link where you can make the purchase on-line or you can call us and we can take payment by phone. If you are in a rush, we can e-mail you the gift certificate so you can print it out!
