We love being from California! We appreciate so much about this warm little paradise, including the sun, beach, abundance of great produce, and the influences of Mexican cooking on Cali cuisine. In this class, we’ll have so much fun with this type of fusion – and best of all, you’ll learn some great recipes, and then eat!

Our cooking class themes change on a weekly basis! Each weekend, classes are offered at 11:00 am and 4:00 pm on Saturday and Sunday. We offer the same class 4 times per weekend, so that we can keep the class size intimate. Each class is $70 per student. To sign up for class please call us at (323) 512-5544 or e-mail jenny@sporkfoods.com.
To sign up for a class via e-mail, please let us know the class of your choice, number of attendees, date and time that you prefer. We will get back to you confirming availability, and we will e-mail you a payment link to confirm your booking. You're spot will not be held unless you have received payment confirmation from Google Wallet.
Once you have completed signing up, we will e-mail you details and driving directions one week prior to your class. For a refund you must cancel 3 business days in advance of your cooking class. Students who cancel less than 3 days in advance will be responsible for the full amount.
All cooking classes are approximately 2 – 2 ½ hours in length. Space is limited, so reserve your spot as soon as possible. We recommend booking about 1 month in advance, as classes do sell out.
Come meet like-minded new people or bring along a friend to share your experience! These classes are designed for people of all cooking levels. You'll learn how to care for your health, and prepare delicious food for those you love. We will give you the knowledge and skills to be a confident cook!
At the end of class you will sit down together and enjoy the meal we prepared. After each class you'll take home a thoughtfully prepared packet of original recipes as well as the skills to show off your own delicious culinary creations!
*Menus are subject to slight changes based on seasonality and availability of organic products. Classes are mostly demonstration-based. All cancellations purchased via credit card are subject to a processing fee. If recipes are lost they can be mailed to you for a $10 service charge per packet.
Single class- $70
Package of three classes- $195 (savings of $15)
Package of five classes- $325 (savings of $25)
*Packages must be used within one year of purchase and are intended for one person only. All class packages must be paid up-front, no refunds or exchanges.
